Dynamic Plays in Embodied Movement – Series 1
As a dancer and an educator in movement and Yoga. My curiosity about the human body and its function led me to develop my own method in yoga practice called the Embodied Movement or known as Meditative Vinyasa. After 2 decades of studying and researching, I had put together very well thought-out methods that fitted well-established paradigm, I finally came to a new relisation.
The movement I practice goes hand in hand with the principles and explanatory models presented in this course, which perhaps is quite obvious, I started to try and shape the principles into words and sentences that will help you understand and explore the principles behind human movements.
In this course, it contains 4 separate Lessons on Embodied Movement templates designed by Parveen Nair to guide you step by step in exploring the human movements. Each Template is about 30 minutes. Regardless you are a total beginner , Yoga teachers or movement practitioners, this programme will definitely help you return to wholeness, trust and freedom.
This includes unlimited access to the classes that will enable you to revisit at anytime.
The template one for the embodied practice is not only a warm up but it also serves an inquiry to enter the body. The main purpose of this template to create awareness of breath, body and mind.
The second template is inspired by the spiraling element of the human body, the human experience and the breath.
The template 3 includes some of these elements and invites the body into spirals, seated spirals and seated forward flexion.
The 4th Template of the Embodied movement where we are including the innate expressions of the hips and the spine, which is flexion and extension.
